  • Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men, women, and people of most racial and ethnic groups in the United States.
  • One person dies every 36 seconds in the United States from cardiovascular disease.
  • About 659,000 people in the United States die from heart disease each year— that’s 1 in every 4 deaths.
  • Worldwide obesity has nearly tripled since 1975.

The fair will take place from October 29 to November 5, 2024. The in-person event will be hosted in Accra, Ghana, while the virtual event will be accessible online.

The fair is open to Rotarians, Rotaractors, Clubs and International partners involved in various projects across West Africa.

Yes, there is a registration fee. The fee structure is as follows:

  • International Partner - $175
  • Exhibitor Virtual - $ 100
  • Exhibitor In Person - $350
  • Exhibitor Hybrid - $ 400

Yes, clubs can present their projects. The application process involves submitting an abstract and a brief project description as Recommended Structure for Project presentation has been shared and will be made available to all clubs who register and make payment. As per the amount paid projects will be given a slot for presentation either in-person, virtually or both.

The fair will showcase a diverse range of projects with aligns strictly with Rotarys Seven areas of focus.

Yes, there will be numerous networking opportunities. In-person attendees can participate in networking sessions, panel discussions, and workshops. Virtual attendees will have access to online networking tools and virtual meetups. Clubs who register for both will have more avenues to interact both in-person and online attendees.

The fair will feature keynote addresses from prominent figures in within Rotary District , Regional and Internal levels. The list of speakers will be announced closer to the event date.

Virtual Participation

Virtual participants will receive a unique login link after registering. The virtual platform will host live streams of presentations, workshops, and networking sessions. Recordings will also be available for later viewing. The Virtual Platform will be created the physical event and it will be as engaging as the In-person Event.
